What We Believe

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer

Core Beliefs

We believe that the Bible in its entirety is the inspired Word of God
and the only infallible and authoritative rule of faith and conduct.
( 2 Timothy 3:16, I Peter 1:25 )

We believe in Christ's great commission to the church according.
( Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:15-18 )

We believe in one God eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and that in Jesus Christ dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
( Colossians 2:9, Deuteronomy 6:4, John 10:30, John 14:26, Matthew 28:19 )

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His personal bodily return in power and glory.
( I Timothy 3:16; Acts 1:11, Romans 8:34 )

We believe in complete salvation by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and obedience to the gospel by repentance of sins and baptism by immersion in water.
( Ephesians 2:8, Acts 2:38, Acts 8:35-39 )

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly and victorious life.
( 2 Corinthians 7:1, I John 4:4, Romans 8:37, Romans 8: 1-2 )

We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the spirit gives utterance, and the manifestation of the Holy Spirit through the nine gifts of the Spirit.
( Acts 2:38-39, Acts 19:6, I Corinthians 12:4-11 )

We believe in the observance of the Lord's Supper as a memorial of His broken body and the New Testament in His Blood.
( I Corinthians 11:24-25 )

We believe in the fruit of the Spirit and that all Christian endeavours must be accompanied by the spiritual fruit of love.
( Galatians 5:22-23 )

We believe in the five ministries God gave to His body; Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers, "For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry."
( Ephesians 4:11-12 )

We believe that at the return of Jesus Christ "the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with Him."
( I Thessalonians 4:16-17 )

We believe in the final eternal judgement at which time the condemned will be cast into the lake of fire.
( Revelations 20:11-15 )
